Loi Krathong Festival

Bangkok, Thailand, Nov 24 2007 - Thai women releasing their floating candles at the Loi Krathong Festival. They are dressed in traditional Thai outfits, and are celebrating Loi Krathong at Ramkhamhaeng 2 University.

Loi Krathong is an annual festival, where people release a small floating raft with a lit candle on top, as a symbol of honouring Buddha, letting go of grudges and bad parts of their lives, and believe the act of releasing the raft will bring good luck.
